Dalmatia olive pick and taste tour is a once in a year special opportunity to combine local gastronomy, great landscape and olive picking & tasting experience while meeting local hosts and their way of living. Olive picking locations include amazing landscape views near city Omiš, transfer and food included.
Day in nature with traditional food specialties
This tour is NOT about olive picking efficiency or work, it’s an easy going experience, intended for guests to meet olives and local food while having fun.
For example , guests are encouraged to pick olives with hands to feel tactile sensation and connect with nature itself. Later in day you get to taste home made virgin olive oil and other food traditional specialties.
Our tour for day near Omiš includes enjoying a series of traditional meals while discovering tactile sensation of olive picking and tasting . We welcome all nature lovers – come and try the best of we have to offer in Mediterranean – virgin home made olive oil in Dalmatia – while being part of the whole process.

MEETING POINT
Meeting point is usually at Strossmayerova Fountain inside of Strossmayer park (Đardin), just above Golden Gates. However, for a private tour meeting point can be arranged depending on a request, for example pick up is possible at the reception of your accommodation if in city center. You can request pick up in city center while booking the tour.
If meeting on a regular point, when near Golden Gates you will see a huge statue of Gregory of Nin, and just above statue we meet in the middle of the park , next to fountain.

“Host family was very welcoming and kind, we started our our day with nice sweet dessert and coffee, drived to first olive picking spot and did some picking after which we ate traditional dalmatian famous meal like healthy pizza from veggies – omg so tasty. Photos and views after that were amazing but second olive pick spot was brilliant, it was awesome view just by itself. Day was finished with big home made meal in the evening. We tried olive oil that day and got souvenir as a gift. Will remember this day for long time <3 "
